Fantastic Mr Fox and Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas win my imaginary costume contest. And can you see that I have Gaga’s armadillo shoe on in the last photo? I was trying so hard to get it in a photo that the backdrop fell down, twice!
Also, my favourite roller derby player is in one of these pictures. I got the vapours.
Last week we had a party themed around the letter K to celebrate Kim moving into our flat. Can you tell who I am? The little friend on my broom is the main giveaway. I bought him in Japan before I even knew what he had to do with! Two years later I’m watching a movie and there he is onscreen, I love it.
Jason set up our photobooth for the occasion, it’s going to be excellent for all our future parties. Kim has lots of pictures on her blog if you’re nosey.
Last thursday evening I had the divine pleasure of attending a tea party thrown to celebrate / commiserate my descent / ascent into married land. One month from today you guys! T’was masterminded and decorated by the amazing (and obviously major stylist material) Lizzie, with help from other bridesmaids Jane, Natalie and Emma (although Caitlin sadly couldn’t make it to Wellington – miss you!). Beautiful photos are by Jason, who was promptly kicked out after these were taken.
I was so excited to see that Tim Walker & Tim Burton teamed up again for Harper’s Bazaar Magical Fashion issue. Set design is (of course) by the AMAZING Shona Heath, I’d have her babies any day. I’m just going to go ahead and post every picture from it, hope you don’t mind!
